One Fort Myers, Florida religious congregation has taken a new approach to helping out the porn addicts in their community. They've posted a billboard (seen to the right) touting "
Pancakes and Porn." This is an odd combo to be sure... but one which is geared to lure the more tasteless into repentance.
WINK news reports that the idea is to start discussing an issue which they rightly recognize is seriously harming our families.
In other news, the famed cliche of honeymooning in Niagra Falls has become somewhat tainted in my mind. Apparently,
there are over 250 registered sex offenders in the immediate area surrounding the famous waterfalls. Coming next, if you run out of gas near St. Petersburg, Florida, you may want to avoid the exit on 54th street off of Interstate 275.
A nearby trailer park is home to 90 sex offenders recently released from prison.
Personally, I tread lightly in labeling someone a pariah... but many of these folks deserve the label. I'm glad the folks in Fort Myers have their heads on straighter than most.
